We will meet you at hotel at 8.00am then head to Temple of Literature & National University, the 1st university of Vietnam established in early 11th century. Then we continue on with Hoa Lo prison ( better known as Hanoi Hilton by American pilots during Vietnam War). Hoa Lo Prison was built by the French to imprison the Vietnamese patriots during the 1st Indochina War, and later the down U.S pilots during the Vietnam War. The small part of the complex remaining is now a museum which tells you a part of Vietnam’s conflicts history. The next stop is Huu Tiep lake or also known as B-52 Lake in Ngoc Ha village where a part of Bomber 52 was shot down dring the Christmas bombing in 1972. We have a lunch break before drivingLong Bien bridge across the Red river for Long Bien Bridge, originally called Paul Doumer Bridge, a historic cantilever bridge built in late 19th century by the French. We stroll down the bridge for a great views of the beautiful green Oasis Red River countryside with peaceful and tranquil villages and farms under the bridge. The excursion ends up with the famous Hanoi Train Street for photo oppotunity and witness the mesmerizing sight of trains passing by just inch away from your face.
